Da Nang Bay
Da Nang is known not only as the largest port city in Central Vietnam but also as a destination with many famous scenic spots.
The city of Da Nang borders Thua Thien-Hue Province to the north, Quang Nam Province to the west and south, and the East Sea to the east. The city center is 764 km north of Hanoi, 964 km south of Ho Chi Minh City, and 108 km northwest of Hue. This is a city with a mix of high mountains, deep rivers, rolling hills, and narrow coastal plains.

Da Nang International Airport
Da Nang International Airport is one of the busiest airports and one of the largest international airports in Vietnam (after Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat). Recognized by international aviation organizations as a transit point for East-West air routes, Da Nang Airport offers direct connections to Singapore, Bangkok, and Seoul, facilitating international exchanges. Currently, it remains the most important airport serving both Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands.

Da Nang Port
Da Nang Port is the third-largest commercial port in Vietnam. With an average depth of 15-20 meters, it can accommodate large ships with a capacity of up to 28,000 tons and a length of 220 meters. Connected to Ky Ha and Dung Quat ports in the south, Da Nang Port is set to become part of the largest interconnected port complex in the country, holding a strategic position on the maritime routes of Southeast and Northeast Asia.

An Thuong Tourist District
As the economic hub of Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, Da Nang is home to major companies in textiles, consumer goods manufacturing, processing industries, mechanical engineering, and construction materials production. The city's industrial sector has an average growth rate of 20% per year. Da Nang aims to be a leading locality in Vietnam’s industrialization and modernization process.

Con Market
Da Nang has two major markets in its city center: Han Market and Con Market. Additionally, several large supermarkets have opened in recent years, including Big C (Vinh Trung Plaza) and Co.op Mart, serving as key commercial centers for the city.

Economy
In finance and banking, Da Nang is the largest financial hub in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, hosting over 40 state-owned and joint-stock commercial banks, joint ventures, financial companies, and dozens of large-scale securities trading centers.

Beyond its natural advantages, Da Nang is surrounded by three UNESCO World Heritage cultural sites: Hue, Hoi An, and My Son. A little farther away is the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.

Dragon Bridge
Thanks to its geographical and cultural significance, Da Nang is considered a vital transit point on the Central Heritage Road.
